Our dog Nellie

We have adopted Nellie as a 12-week old pup from a non-kill shelter in March of 2002. She is believed to be a mix of several cattle dogs: Blue and read healer and tri-color Australian Sheppard. She is very loving and affectionate. However, she is also quite dominant and it takes a time for her to make "new dog friends." She is also very protective of us and an excellent guard dog. Just as her "mama" Martina, Nellie loves water and swimming.
