September 17, 2005: A star-studded line-up of sports celebrities, including Martina merged sports with science at The Science Place’s annual gala fundraiser, this year called “Sports Celebrity Gala.” The Gala’s goal was to raise funds for The Science Place’s ongoing mission of providing educational experiences for Dallas' underserved youth, and to bring attention to The Science Place’s forthcoming major new 25,000-square-foot permanent sports and health exhibit conceived to address national concerns related to obesity and fitness. Martina's poster and a swim cap was  auctioned in  a live auction for $400.

August 31, 2005: Martina finished her summer season with solid results at the FINA World Championships in Montreal, CAN. She achieved her best performance in the 100m Butterfly. In the finals she placed 7th with the time of 0:59.32.

Feb. 12, 2005:  Moravcova Wins 3 Golds in the 2004-2005 FINA World Cup Series on Long Island, NY.

Jan. 27, 2005:  Moravcova rewrites history of the FINA World Cup Series with her 100th win.

Dec. 30, 2004:  5 Golds for Moravcova at the Championship of the Indian Ocean.

Dec. 12, 2004:  Martina wins 2 gold medals at the European Short Course Championships in Vienna, Austria, and becomes Europe's best short course swimmer ever.

Dec. 4, 2004:  Martina wins 5 gold medals during the third leg of the 2004-05 FINA SWIMMING WORLD CUP in Daejon, South Korea, on December 2-3.

Nov. 23, 2004:  Martina won 3 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal during the first leg of the 2004-05 FINA SWIMMING WORLD CUP in Durban, South Africa.

Oct. 11, 2004:  SwimInfo.com - Martina Moravcova Defends 100 Butterfly Crown.

Aug. 1, 2004:  Dallas Morning News printed pre-Olympic interview with Martina.

July 18, 2004:  WFAA TV Channel 8 in Dallas, TX aired an interview with Martina about the upcoming Olympic Games in Athens.

May 16, 2004:  Martina medaled again - she won a Gold and a Silver medal in the 100m and 50m Fly at the European Championships in Madrid, Spain (50 m pool).

April 2-4, 2004:  Martina won the 100m Free, and finished 2nd in 100m Fly, 200m Free and 3rd in 50m Free at the swimming Grand Prix in Indianapolis, IN.  She swam in the new swim suit by TYR, the Aqua Shift. 

March 20, 2004:  Martina flew to Prague, Czech Republic, to shoot a TV commercial featuring oral hygiene products.  This TV spot will air in Slovakia in April 2004.

December 6, 2003:  Martina's Autobiography titled Martina with the pedigree of Eva (written by Martina Moravcova and Ľubomír Souček) was released for sale in bookstores in her native country of Slovakia.
