Martina's baby girl Karolina has celebrated her 1st year.
Martina considers her return to training for her a chance to
make her 6th Olympic Games appearance in London next year.
She intends to compete in the fall and spring 2012 in order
to attempt to meet the Olympic qualification standards. |
 1.1.2010:
Martina and her husband, Martin Valko,
are expecting their first child in June. Martina
has put her future swimming career on hold this year.

20, 2008 - The Official visit of the Queen Elizabeth II
in Slovakia. I was one of the 120 some lucky citizens whom
got to meet the Queen Elizabeth and her husband prince
Philip. I was also among the invited guest who were formally
introduced to her at an official dinner hosted by Mr.

Martina competed at the World
 Cup meet in Singapore. Only
after a few weeks in the water she produced solid
performances in the 100m Butterfly (0:59.93) and 100m IM
(1:02.78) finishing fifth and sixth respectively. |
